(NEWS10) — A 71-year-old Pine Bush man is doing time in Ulster County Jail after he allegedly pretended to be an underage girl online, so minors would send him inappropriate pictures and videos. Police say Knuth had child porn on his computer when he was arrested. He was charged with a single felony count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.Detectives with the Ulster County Sheriff's Office took the lead on the case. ST. LOUIS -- Yesterday afternoon, in the middle of the busy downtown area, a person on a skateboard was gunned down. The victim, whose name has not been disclosed, was a 30-year-old frequent skateboarder in Kiener Plaza. Police have eyewitness accounts of the incident, but there is no description of the suspect who fled the scene. Now, the police are using their real-time crime center surveillance cameras to try and find the killer. This is the 46th homicide that St. Louis Metro Police have investigated this year. The incident occurred at 7th and Market, where the victim had tried to run away from the shooter before winding up in Kiener Plaza. JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Missouri's governor is putting pressure on lawmakers to pass legislation aimed at the transgender community. With two weeks left in session, Gov. Mike Parson is telling the General Assembly to restrict transgender athletes to play on the team that matches the sex on their birth certificate and ban gender-affirming care for minors or else be prepared to come back to work. LOUIS - Two mothers who say the justice system has failed them are speaking out."We, as black mothers, are saying enough is enough," said Sylvia Bennett-Stone.Bennett-Stone and Johnetta Doss both have teenage daughters who were murdered.Both mothers have gone through pain on top of pain, and then the legal system added more pain. ST. LOUIS -- One man was injured overnight in a shooting in North St. Louis. It happened at a gas station on Natural Bridge Avenue at Kings Highway just before midnight. The glass door at the station was shattered. Police say the shooting victim showed up at the hospital without waiting for an ambulance. A Fairfield man was arrested in a kidnapping and assault that occurred last week, Fairfield police said Thursday.Just after 4:15 p.m. April 21, officers responded to the 1800 block of Walters Court for a report that a man had pulled a woman by her hair and pushed her into a vehicle, officials said.Officers obtained video footage of the apparent kidnapping and, by using the FLOCK camera system, located the suspect’s vehicle. The registered owner, Corktney Tyrese Love, 36, was on parole for kidnapping and sexual assault, officials said.Love was found at an address in the 500 block of East Colorado Street, but the woman was not.
