Russian drone strikes on Odesa hit port area and cut off ferry service to Romania KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia struck the Black Sea port city of Odesa for a second night in a row in a drone barrage that damaged a warehouse, charred dozens of trucks and injured two drivers in fiery explosions that led officials to suspend ferry service between Romania and Ukraine, officials said Tuesday.Video shot from the Romanian side of the Danube River showed rapid-fire bursts of Ukrainian anti-aircraft fire streaking through the night sky followed by two orange fireballs exploding near the port area. Photos showed burned-out frames of trucks.Romanian Border Police said ferries were anchored on the Romanian shores of the Danube in Isaccea due to the attacks on Ukraine. London’s Gatwick Airport limits flights this week due to staff illness, including COVID-19 LONDON (AP) — Gatwick Airport, London’s second-busiest, is limiting flights this week, partly because of an outbreak of COVID-19 within air traffic control.In a statement late Monday, the airport said a daily 800-flight limit, affecting both departures and arrivals, has been imposed until Sunday.Gatwick said around 30% of staff in the division within air traffic control are off sick for a variety of reasons, including COVID-19.It said the daily cap will prevent last-minute cancellations and delays for passengers while National Air Traffic Services, or NATS, gets back to normal. Texas Parks and Wildlife warns of red tide event on gulf coast AUSTIN (KXAN) – The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Monday warned of a red tide event currently underway in the upper Texas coast and the Lower Laguna Madre. The department said it found red tide on Sept. 3 at a monitoring station near Freeport. It said low to moderate concentrations of red tide have been found near Freeport and the Texas City Dike. Parks and Wildlife said low concentrations of red tide have been detected in water samples from Good Hope Circle Beach and the Gulf Beach in Cameron County in the Lower Laguna Madre.Texas Parks and Wildlife suspects the bloom led to fish kills at San Luis Pass, Surfside Beach and the Quintana/Freeport Channel.TPWD said people who are near the water during red tide may experience irritation of the eyes, nose and throat, as well as coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. LOUIS - Major road improvements are happening Tuesday on a main street very close to the new NGA West Complex in north St. Louis.The new NGA West campus is located at Jefferson Avenue and James Cool Papa Bell.
